Mekong Kayaks is a Laos/NZ joint venture promoting sustainable, adventure tourism in partnership with isolated river communities along the Mekong River in Northern Laos. It offers a range of day or overnight kayaking or mountain biking adventures or riverboat cruises along a 60km stretch of the Mekong River, staying in these river communities, or camping overnight on a beach beside the rain forest. With no cars, roads, phones, or distributed electricity it's an authentic experience for even travel weary adventurers. Income derived is used to support education in these remote river communities, along with creating tourism jobs. We are the only kayaking company to run adventure tours over this stretch of the river, as we have been operating in the area for over 12 years supporting better education by building and supplying schools.
